Dancers Feedback

I want to thank all the dancers who gave me feedback on the new Tribal Soup Tracks, I received a lot of good information on the tracks so far and hope that those dancers who haven't gotten back to me get a chance to listen to the new tracks and let me know what they think.  I am very happy that much of the feedback has been very positive, that helps me out a lot knowing I am going in a positive direction.

If anyone else gets a chance to listen to them on Facebook, Reverbnation, LastFM or YouTube, I would love to hear what you think about them.

Should have another new one coming up later this week so stay tuned.

Tribal Soup - forthcoming CD title - Gumbo

Well I am happy to announce we have a new title for the next Tribal Soup CD, it will be called Gumbo, because we are experimenting with some new sounds as we wander a little into the world of Tribal Electronica, taking some cool Electronica sounds and put them up against some Middle Eastern Rhythms on the Doumbek and Riq.  Should be interesting as we delve deeper into something that is far afield from the traditional stuff we recorded.

Tribal Soup is the perfect blend of flavor and rhythm.  It is a group of people who have played together for so many years that they can anticipate what is to be, how it will arrive, and how it will be heard.  These ingredients of sounds are always evolving and changing with time and people, each bowl of Tribal Soup is a new and different experience from the last, but it is always a great way to spend your time enjoying.  They will take a little bit of this and a pinch of that, pulling from the numerous cultures of drums throughout the world.   What arrives on our taste buds is something that mixes the flavors of so many cultures and has no traditional name. Each of us brings an ingredient that is essential to the overall meal of rhythms and sound, and when placed around the fire the sparks of flavor ignite and when you find yourself around the fire dancing, laughing, and being one with the community, you will be wanting another bowl of Tribal Soup.
